Summary

Ratna Sagar is seeking an experienced candidate for the role of product management and brand promotion.
This role will be responsible to promote our product to the target audience via workshops, training sessions, webinars etc. and lead on-site and virtual marketing and educational initiatives

Chief goal of this role would be to ensure our brands information and value proposition is always visible and etched in the minds of our target audience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Product Management /Training

  1. Overall responsible for planning, organizing educational workshops, seminars, symposiums, webinars, & product presentations for academic community (teachers, students, school management etc.) within the assigned territory via live visits and on digital platforms.
  2. Representing company in any required event/s. Be the face and voice of the company and answer inquiries of the clients proactively.
  3. Attend required events and workshops.
  4. Product promotion brand /relationship building by interactions with clients, vendors suppliers etc.
  5. Develop and maintain training materials including guides, articles, and training videos across multiple products.
  6. Knowledge management of educational and informational materials to increase awareness about books and other products of the company.
  7. Determine and understand customer needs and provide support to meet customer needs for business generation
  8. how the software can be utilized to increase value and ROI to the customer business.
  9. Participate in development process to ensure product meets specifications.
  10. Tech savvy -Should be able to independently organise and manage digital events.


Supervisory Role

  1. To drive and oversee all product promotional workshops and related activities.
  2. Coaching and mentoring the team members in marketing department. Guide them in the execution of their duties (when required) for a smooth hassle free work throughout. Should have a knack to supervise a team skilfully.
  3. Help the team members in establishing their roles/duties and performance specifications
  4. Timely and periodically updating management about the departmental achievements, effectiveness of promotional workshops etc.
  5. Collaborative approach
  6. Assess teams skills, talents, performance and productivity and prepare written evaluations with suitable recommendations for improvement


Analytical Role

  1. Gather new market information/proactively carry out competition mapping.
  2. Market research on various industry product offering to strategize product enhancements for future bring best practices to meet existing requirements
  3. Responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides.
  4. Competition analysis for various subjects in both segments i.e. print and digital


Other duties

  1. Maintain a database of stakeholders (clients, teachers, school management, vendors etc.)
  2. Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts.
  3. Bringing out best industrial practices
  4. Empanelment of freelancers, educationists as a resource person


Qualifications/Skills:

  1. Education Post Grad from a relevant subject course from an institute of repute.
  2. Experience Must have had at least 15-20 years of proven experience in a similar role in the similar industry.
  3. Analytical Skills Should be able portray an ability to enable data-driven decisions and show a deep interest and comfort working with ROI and metric-driven models.
  4. IT Skills
  • He/She must also demonstrate proficiency in the use of relevant softwares (Ms Word, PowerPoint, and Ms Excel, etc.) Which are necessary for the creation of brand marketing materials.
  • Tech savvy -Should be able to independently organise and manage digital events.


  1. Communication Skills Must possess superior communication skills and should be confident in interacting with stakeholders from all grades.
  2. Interpersonal Skills The candidate for this position must demonstrate exceptional problem solving skills, have an entrepreneurial spirit and passion to the brand as his own, have exceptional organizational skills, be detail orientated, be a strategic and creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, display comfort working in cross functional settings both as a leader and a player, have an ability to think outside of the box and find creative and unorthodox program solutions that give the brand its edge.
  3. The candidate must be willing to travel PAN India extensively
  4. Must have own conveyance
